Following time in the corporate world, Simon decided in 2016 to return to his public practice accounting roots. His extensive experience meant he was able to quickly attract his first clients and commence work for them. Initially starting small whilst building systems and processes for the growing business he quickly outgrew working from his home in Duncraig and opened an office in Greenwood. Trading as MAS Tax Accountants (through an affiliation with other accounting practices) business continued to build.
In 2019, James also left the corporate world in search of also returning to his accounting practice beginnings. Having come out of a large multinational Big 4 accounting firm, James was able to further improve processes and systems as he took up a 50% partnership with Simon.
In partnership Liro Accountants and Business Advisors was born. Simon and James passion for helping small business and consult to medium sized business was evident and new clients continued to hear of their success and join the Liro family. Continually staying aligned with evolving tax laws and regulations the team also ensures a fresh approach to business structuring and strategies that is proving to add value to our clients business.
Simon, James and the team remain open and approachable. We continue to accept new clients into the practice that are looking for a modern accounting practice with experienced, qualified and track proven Chartered Accountants at the helm.

Usha is an Accountant from Nepal. She came to Australia to pursue her master’s degree. She has completed her MBA & MPA and has been working as a Business service accountant since 2022.
As an Accountant Usha is responsible for managing and overseeing financial records for a variety of our clients. She manages the clients budgeting and forecasting, payroll, annual financial statement preparation and taxation compliance. Usha is reliable, detail-oriented, and plays a crucial role.
